1. Cheesy garlic bread
- Ingredients
- 1 loaf of bread
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
2. Mix softened butter with minced garlic.
3. Spread the garlic butter on the bread.
4. Top with shredded cheese.
5. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
2. Microwave mug pizza
- Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pizza toppings (cheese, pepperoni)
- Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add milk and olive oil; stir until combined.
3. Top with cheese and your choice of toppings.
4. Microwave for about 1 minute or until cooked through.
3. Egg fried rice
- Ingredients
- Cooked rice (leftover is ideal, so you can just prep the night before and refrigerate)
- Eggs (2 per serving)
- Instructions
1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
2. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
3. Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir until heated through.
4. Baked ham and cheese roll-ups
- Ingredients
- Slices of ham
- Slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- Tortilla wraps
- Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C.
2. Lay a slice of ham and cheese on a tortilla, roll it up tightly.
3. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until heated through.
5. Overnight oats
- Ingredients
- Rolled oats
- Milk (or plant-based milk)
- Chia seeds
- Honey
- Fruit
- Instructions
1. Mix oats, milk, and chia seeds in a jar.
2. Refrigerate overnight.
3. Add honey and fruit before eating.
